Emirates Float Glass receives prestigious Emirates Appreciation Award by Zayed International foundation for the Environment.

Abu Dhabi, September 17, 2014: Emirates Float Glass [EFG], a subsidiary of Dubai Investments PJSC and the first state-of-the-art integrated float glass facility in the UAE, has successfully commissioned a new facility aimed at enhancing its production capabilities to cater to the automotive glass sector.

Located in ZonesCorp's ICAD 2, Emirates Float Glass (EFG), the first state-of-art integrated float glass facility in the UAE, has been recently honored for maintaining high health and environmental standards in its operations.

In a high profile ceremony at Dubai on 10th Jan 2013, His Excellency Dr. Rashid Ahmed Mohammed Bin Fahad, minister of UAE for Environment and Water presented the prestigious Environmental Performance Card (EPC) to Emirates Float Glass LLC in recognition of its efforts to promote greener production concepts and application of safe environmental management.

EFG Technical team was represented by Joy Mathews - Director Projects, Sibi Augustine - Dy. Manager Maintenance and Prasanna during The 2012 Storage Summit, presented by Tyco Fire Protection Products, which brought together leading industry professionals to discuss some of the hottest topics and trends in protecting high-pile storage commodities.
