EFG's pursuit of producing high quality float glass is backed by Licensed Technology from PPG USA to manufacture clear, body tinted & online coated reflective glass products. An average float line once fired will be producing ribbons of molten glass without break for almost 12-15 years.
EFG's has installed capacity of 600 tons of molten glass per day under phase I, is gearing up to cater to the varying needs of the regional market in float glass and related business.
The state of art float plant is poised to produce high quality clear float glass and heat absorbing tinted float glass products in thicknesses ranging from 2-12mm. It is also constitutes an online (Pyrolytic) coating facility, a first of its kind in the region to manufacture reflective float glass products. The plant will produce glass confirming to global standards. The products will be available in varied sheet sizes meeting the regional market requirements, also offering jumbo size glass panes as large as of 6000mm x 3680mm. The integrated technology and design provides for future flexibility, scalability and capability to adapt to the changing needs of market dynamics.
